The solar modules have been EL tested with no hot-spot heating guaranteed. Bypass diodes minimise power drop caused by shade and ensure excellent performance in low-light environments. The TPT back sheet ensures smooth performance over a long period of time.

Bypass diodes protect the solar cells from overheating and allow the solar panel to continue working during accidental shading by bypassing the underperforming cells.
